Last night I completed the update on the Target Travel Fleet List which is now a sheet of its own in the main local fleet list file
I then started work on the next big update - The First South West Fleet List along with a new visual fleet guide which will be revealed shortly

With nothing new coming through on VOSA at the moment and no sign of a new N&P I have been going back through some of the route already on Plymothian Transit Bus Services which were still in need of the full history.

To finish off the evening I continued work on the Plymouth Citybus Fleetlist with news sheets from the start of 2014
Today I have completed the full VOSA history for one of Torbays main routes, 12 Newton Abbot - Brixham
Available now in Plymothian Transit Bus Services updated in the VOSA Database and also fully documented in the Plymothian Transit Calendar
AS plans are being finalised for reversing of traffic system in and out of Torquay, concerns have been voiced about proposed changes to stops for the Bay's busiest bus. Cllr Darling said: "I'm extremely concerned about the impact this will have on the elderly disabled, mothers with young children and prams along with those with mobility difficulties who are unable or find it difficult to walk up to the nearest stop on Abbey Road.
"I am also aware that traders around Castle Circus are also concerned that this will impact on their businesses as they will lose passing trade. According to proposed Stagecoach route plans, the number 12 bus will now come up Abbey Road and continue past the old B&Q building towards the police station. Therefore anyone in Castle Circus or using the facilities at the top end of the town, including the library, job centre, Council Offices, Post Offices, and shops, will no longer be able to catch a bus without having to walk up this steep hill."
A Stagecoach spokesperson said: "Due to the implementation of Torbay Council's new one way system it will not be possible for the 12 to continue on its present route.
"During the consultation phase of this project we explained this impact in some detail and that it would require a substantial, lengthy and circuitous diversion to serve Castle Circus on services towards Newton Abbot.
From 9th February 2015 and for the remainder of the Fleet Street works, we are re-routing our Hop12 diversion so it will now serve Union Street.The new diversion route is as follows: From Newton Abbot buses will go their normal route to Castle Circus Library, then divert via Union Street, Pimlico, Abbey Road and pick up the existing diversion route at Lucius Street.

Having caught up with the N&P entries I am now back on with the Plymothian Transit Bus Services updates ready for the next Cornwall Transit due this week.
I have had to make a few changes to the formatting of maps I use on the sites. The new design is easier to run as I just hit a button and then just amend the text. All new maps uploaded from now on will be to this new look

As the new VOSA site does not yet feature a way of getting the most recent applications by date, I am having to make a effort to keep up to date from the fortnightly N&P publications, which means bringing my indexes up to date.
This involves going through all the notices for Devon & Cornwall and making sure they are in the VOSA Database.
The operator licence details go into one sheet
Then all the route details go into the other sheet. These are also checked on the other sheets including the ToDo sheet to make sure nothing has been missed. If the date search does not come back then this will be all new VOSA activity once a fortnight

More work on the backdating update for the Plymouth Citybus Fleetlist
This time I have cleared PSV Circle news sheets 861 to 864 (October 2011 to January 2012). It might not sound much but there was a lot to update!
Also updated with a lot of livery information and also some fleet summary information so you can see the breakdown of the fleet month by month is the Go Ahead Plymouth Citybus Chart
I continued the historic back update for my Plymouth Citybus Fleetlist with updated from psv circle new sheets 851 - 860 completed (December 2010 - September 2011)
As well as updating the main fleet list I have also started the Plymouth Citybus Chart which logs each fleet number in use each month with the basic vehicle type. I am also slowly backdating this with a colour code for the livery carried by each fleet number. This is for use with another project I have on the go at the moment
I have been meaning to go back and update my fleetlists to include a lot of missing details. I have all the PSVC new sheets going back to 2008 which I have been going through to backdate old information and adding it to the Plymouth Citybus Fleetlist.
I am now coming towards the end of 2010. The aim to get all buses as taken over by Go Ahead in November 2009 onwards.
All the buses taken over have been added to the listing and I am now starting to update with dates old and liveries.
As part of this I am also putting together an online publication looking back at Plymouth Citybus under Go Ahead ownership to get a visual guide to the development of the fleet over the years. Eventually if I get it right it will be a very visual booklet / pdf viewable online, probably in yearly volumes.
There have been a few changes to the Plymouth Citybus Fleetlist this evening.
